Adobe Creative Suite
The industry standard applications for design which include Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as InDesign for all page layout projects and Flash for media rich web applications.
Apple iWork
We all have to work with Microsoft Office files. At do1 we use iWork which can create and open these documents but with a more elegant interface and a fraction of the price.
Studiometry
Advanced mission management software ensures our projects and timesheets are automated and kept organised, so we spend less time fussing with admin, and more time designing and coding.
Versions
We take version control very seriously for our websites and web applications, so we use Versions to interface with our SVN repository, ensuring our web developers and designers collaborate efficiently.
Coda
For building websites, we favour Coda with its code auto-completion and built-in W3C validators, allowing us to easily check that our code adheres to W3C standards as the build progresses.
TextMate
Our developers’ weapon of choice for hardcore coding, this text editor gives our programmers the power and control they need to produce perfect, efficient code on every project.
Highrise
It’s tough when you’re popular! So to keep track of contacts, we use this web-based CRM to log notes and schedule actions, ensuring we maintain a proactive service to our clients.
Mantis Bug Tracker
Keeping track of change requests and bugs, especially on larger scale web applications, can almost be a fulltime job in itself. We use this open source bug tracker to make sure no issues or requests ever fall by the wayside.
